Lighting Storms

Down here is Puerto Rico it rains almost everyday during the "Rainy Season." Coming from California, it is nice to see the rain and feel it every afternoon. When the rains come, it is usually like clockwork at around 3:00pm and rains hard for about an hour. Along with the rain comes low dark clouds and some very intense lighting storms. It is pretty rad really, the air cools off about 10 degrees (from the mid 90's) during the storm, all outside work comes to a halt (if the lightening is intense) and it is time to sit on the porch and relax for a little while.

While researching Wind Energy for the house, I found this killer picture of a lighting strike in Colorado. The colors in this picture are just amazing!

YouTube Video Upload Problems

I have tried uploading a video to youtube 3 times now. Each time I enter the title, description and tags and hit upload after going to the right file in my directories. It takes about 20 minutes until it goes back to step one (where i am supposed to enter the title, description and tags). There is no You Tube error message or anything...just kinda bumped back to the end of the line to start over.

I am too aggravated to deal. Maybe I'll learn how to upload videos to my blog without You Tube.

Choice Cable Puerto Rico Sucks

My office down here in Puerto Rico is run off of Choice Cable's Internet service. It goes down at least twice a week, sometimes three or four days at a time. I highly recommend going with the local DSL which is faster and has not gone down once since I moved down here. I am working in a local bakery that allows me to use their wireless network...i am looking forward to having our home offices set up. This bakery/office stuff is for the birds.

Puerto Rico has been hot!

Still no electricity at the house in Puerto Rico" and it has been damn hot. Things are a lot different down here...as a matter a fact, a tick is crawling across my laptop screen as we speak. Time to get this Mac on Frontline.

I am looking forward to moving the office to the new house and getting some fans and lights..but mostly fans.
